The True Meaning to Life
A TEACHER friend of mine was telling her class about the story of Easter. She asked: "Who was Peter in the Easter story?" A wee boy who rarely answers shot his hand up: "Miss, Miss, was he no the rabbit!"

That wee boy is not alone. The Easter story will be celebrated by millions of Christians in services and celebrations across the globe. Many more will attend events like our own Edinburgh Easter Festival, which is Britain’s biggest. Millions of chocolate eggs and even rabbits will be consumed and there will be many family gatherings.

But, according to latest research, 48 per cent of people did not know that Easter was about Jesus and 42 per cent could not name Judas as the man who betrayed him. Yet Judas is not only integral to the Easter story, his name (and his fee of 30 pieces of silver) is synonymous with betrayal.
